Fairfield Hills Building To Be Razed: Report

NEWTOWN, CT — Woodbury Hall, a former nursing residence of the Fairfield Hills Hospital, is due to be demolished, reports the News Times. The Fairfield Hills authority approved the teardown last week.

As part of a long-term plan to turn the Fairfield Hills campus into a civic and cultural part of town, this is the 16th building that will be razed.

The town still plans to use some of the former hospital buildings, but some of the larger buildings are too expensive to be renovated.
