John Vincent Pendergast Jr., 93, died May 4, 2025; a U.S. Air Force veteran and heating and air conditioning business owner, he was a private pilot, lifelong gardener, skilled canner and cook, and devoted much of his life to farming, aviation, and St. Rose Church.

Nicole Elaina Weintraub, 40, died May 1, 2025; a 5th-grade teacher at Farmingville Elementary with a master’s in education, she was passionate about fitness, enjoyed shoe shopping and California sunshine, and devoted her energy to creating meaningful experiences for her children.

Gerald A. Madison Sr., 82, died May 4, 2025; he served in the U.S. Army, worked as a glazier and school bus driver, volunteered as a firefighter, and was an avid bowler in his younger years.
