Hit-And-Run Driver In Newtown Crash Sought By State Police: Report

The crash reportedly occurred on Sunday near Exit 9 on Interstate 84 in Newtown.

NEWTOWN, CT — State police are asking for the public's help in finding a driver who left the scene of a crash on Interstate 84 westbound in Newtown on Sunday, the News-Times reported.

No injuries were reported in the 6 p.m. crash, which occurred near the Exit 9 on-ramp, according to authorities.

The crash involved a 2017 Acura RDX, which was struck on the driver's side by a tan Honda CR-V. State police are looking for the Honda and its driver; the vehicle reportedly was last seen traveling westbound on I-84.
