Donna Marie Williams, 71, died July 1, 2025; she worked in printing and was known for her gardening, sewing, baking, crafting, and devotion to UConn women’s basketball and the New York Mets.

Rita Marie Millo, 82, died June 30, 2025; she was a hairstylist for more than 40 years, primarily at The Fountain Blue in Westport.

Eleanor M. Coffey, 87, died June 28, 2025; she taught for 35 years in Connecticut and New York schools, mentored future educators, enjoyed gardening, baseball, and UConn basketball.

Maureen Anne Engel, 70, died June 26, 2025; a nurse for over 40 years in oncology and family medicine, she was known for her compassion, connection with others, beach trips, and joyful gatherings with friends and family.

Joan DeNyke Ancona, 89, died June 23, 2025; she helped run Ancona’s Market, was known for homemade roast beef, followed her sons’ musical and academic pursuits, played bocce, and remained active in her church community.

Margaret “Peggy” Jane (Hughes) Tattar, 89, died June 15, 2025; she worked in banking and retail, co-owned Island House The Irish Shoppe, and pursued hobbies including costuming, needlework, decorative crafts, gardening, and outdoor adventures.
