Judge Dismisses Case of Sandy Hook 'Truther' Saying - 'You're No Friend of the Court'

SANDY HOOOK, CT — Superior Court Judge Dan Shaban has thrown out a request by a conspiracy theorist who wanted his argument to be part of a case of two families against Newtown and the school district, and said the claim was was unnecessary and unwarranted, The News Times reported.

Conspiracy theorist William Brandon Shanley claimed that the slaying of 20 first-graders and six educators on Dec. 14, 2012 in at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a federal drill, the paper reported.

Shanley,a New London filmmaker, posted his open letter to the court on his Facebook page in 2014 in which he stated that he has "experience in TV-based pseudo-reality research in presidential elections" and quantum physics. He claimed that "there is no physical evidence anyone died at Sandy Hook School, that the crime scene was destroyed and that the parents "may be playing roles, among other extreme, unfounded claims.
