Lucky Newtown Resident Scores Big In Powerball

NEWTOWN, CT — One lucky local scored big playing Powerball last week.

On Oct. 11, the Sandy Hook resident, identified only as "Winner" by the Connecticut State Lottery, played Powerball on a ticket they bought at the Wheels gas station located at 67 Church Hill Road which paid out $50,000.
