Man Arrested For Controlled Substance Possession: Newtown Police

Police said the man was arrested following a traffic stop.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Bethel man was arrested in Newtown on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Jake Alexander Depace, 20, was arrested after police stopped him on South Main Street.

Depace was stopped for failing to display marker tags, according to police. He was arrested following a brief investigation.

He was charged with possession of narcotics/controlled substance. He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court on Dec. 12.
