Man Charged in Gruesome Fireworks Accident: Report
Police say that the accident forced the amputation of a man's arm below the elbow last year.
LITCHFIELD, CT — A Torrington man is facing charges after a fireworks accident lead to the amputation of another man's arm, reports the Republican-American. William Brookshire, 28, is accused of hosting a party and a fireworks display using illegal fireworks.
The report indicates that a pipe bomb was detonated causing Derek Dooley, 29, of Waterbury to lose his arm below the elbow.
