The Art Miles Mural Project: A group that encourages healing arts through mural-making is coming to Newtown, sponsored by Healing Newtown. They're leading a hands-on mural painting event at Newtown Congregational Church. Runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Light the Night Kickoff: The Light the Knight fundraiser, scheduled for Sept. 28, raises funds for leukemia and lymphoma. At this event, you can enjoy free food and meet the Light the Night staff. Starts at My Place at 6:00 p;m
