My Brother's Band brings classic rock and original songs to Newtown Summer Concert Series

NEWTOWN, CT — The Newtown Summer Concert Series continues Thursday, July 24, with a performance by My Brother’s Band, a rock group known for mixing original songs with high-energy covers from classic rock legends. The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Dickinson Memorial Bandshell, located at 50 Elm Drive and Brushy Hill Road.

My Brother’s Band has developed a loyal following with a dynamic set list that includes songs by Grand Funk Railroad, Steve Winwood, Ian Moore, James Gang, and .38 Special. The group also regularly features fan-favorite tracks from Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter, blending well-known hits with original material for a full evening of rock-driven entertainment.

The concert is part of the Newtown Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Newtown Parks & Recreation and Claris Construction. The series runs every Thursday through July 31, with a rain date scheduled for August 7.
