They bring me so much joy & happiness! Many families sometimes struggle to give eachother love & affection, but we make it a point to give & get hugs everyday from eachother & saying ‘I love you’ is a common sentence spoken. I admit, most days I may take it for granted, but when I hear of how some families struggle in life, I’m quickly reminded how important it is to have my family!
How has this made a difference in your 2025?
My husband took on a larger role at work, I took on more hrs at mine, and our kids are involved in several activities- all makes for 1 crazy busy HH! My hashtag for 2025 has been #wonderfullyexhausted! We make it a point to have family time like mountain biking together, walking around Peddlers Village or just having a bonfire out back. Thanks to an article from the CRSD super intendant & a message from our Pastor, we started a daily routine
What do you wish others knew about what you’re thankful for?
It’s scientificly proven to increase your physical, mental & emotional health when you have an ‘attitude of gratitude’. GIVE your family love every day, don’t be shy to give them hugs - even if that’s not the way you were raised. Getting 10+ hugs a day increases your positive endorphins & just makes a person feel happier! I’m so thankful for my family & their love!
