Newtown CT Weather: A Pleasant Start to the Work Week

Summer is soon coming to an end but not before a week of pleasant and mild weather. We'll let you know what to expect in your area.

NEWTOWN, CT — The National Weather Service predicted that September would be extremely warm in Connecticut and so far they’ve been spot on. We will only begin to notice that summer is very close to ending by the temperatures at night, which will fall into the 50s this week. But during the daytime, summer is holding on for now with a week full of temps in the mid 70s to even the low 80s. No 60 degree temps in sight for Connecticut as of yet, at least during the daytime.

Sunshine also dominates the forecast. Over the next seven days there is a couple of chances for some rain but nothing that will put a dent in our drought conditions in Connecticut. We really could use some rain.
