NEWTOWN, CT — A report of an erratic driver led to the arrest of a South Main Street man Saturday for driving under the influence. Police say they arrested Alaido Araujo-dahora, 48, at his home following a brief investigation. Police say they received the report of the erratic operator in the area of Toddy Hill Road, Botsford Hill Road and Swamp Road. Araujo-dahora was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and was released on an appearance bond. He is due in Danbury Superior Court on May 16. Image via Shutterstock
