Newtown Man Charged With DUI After Crash: Police
The accused was taken into custody following a one-car crash
NEWTOWN, CT — A local man was arrested early Saturday morning after a one-car crash on Boggs Hill Road. Police say Colin C. Cooper, 23, of West Brook Ln was charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol and making a restricted turn.
Police say they responded to the area of Boggs Hill Road and Mount Nebo Road at 3:01 a.m. for a one-car crash. Cooper was arrested following a brief investigation. He was released after posting a $100 appearance bond and is due in court on Sep. 26.
