Newtown Man Found Passed Out Behind Wheel: Danbury Police
Police say the car also had two flat tires.

DANBURY, CT — A Newtown man was arrested after police say he was found unconscious behind the wheel of a running car. Police say they were dispatched to the Exxon Gas Station at 464 North Main Street at 2:44 a.m., and found Rosman G. Mendieta-Calle, 34, slumped over in the driver's seat.

Mendieta-Calle was found with his head resting against the door, and failed field sobriety tests.
He was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is due in Danbury Superior Court on Oct. 4.
