Police identified a woman who died in a car accident on Route 34 in Seymour Monday as 25-year-old Nicole C. McDonald of Seymour, a Newtown native.
The Valley Independent Sentinel reports that McDonald was driving a 2013 Toyota RAV4 west on Roosevelt Drive, Route 34, when it collided with a tractor-trailer heading east at about 7:50 a.m.
Friends say McDonald was a native of Newtown, was married and had a child.
The crash remains under investigation.
