Newtown Police Seek Car That Evaded Police
Police say the car may have damage that can help identify the vehicle.

NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown police seeking the public's assistance after a car evaded police on Rte. 34 near Sherman Street Wednesday night. Police say the car hit a dirt embankment while it was evading police.
The car is identified as a older model silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, similar to the one pictured below. The vehicle left behind the wheel well liner, which is plastic, according to police.
