Newtown Police Seek Hit And Run Driver
Police are looking for information or witnesses on the evading vehicle.

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are investigating after a pickup truck left the scene of a crash Sunday, and are asking the public to help identify the truck. Police say the truck struck the rear tail light of a vehicle owned by Charter Communications LLC.
At 5:20 p.m., police say a Ford Transit T-150 vehicle was traveling southbound on Hawleyville Road when it stopped in the left turn lane. When the pickup truck went to pass the other vehicle, it struck the rear quarter panel and tail light of the vehicle. Police say no injuries were reported, and the vehicle sustained minor damage. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Officer Paula Wickman at 203-426-5841.
