Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Capeci is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies on the following boards:

There will be three openings on the Economic Development Commission, available to any registered voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Nov. 22.

There will be an alternate vacancy on the Commission on Aging, available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Nov. 22.

There will be an opening on the Lake Zoar Authority available to any registered voter. The term will being on Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Nov. 22.
