Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Capeci is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies on the following boards:

There will be two openings on the Cultural Arts Commission, available to any registered voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Dec. 6.

There will be an opening on the Lake Zoar Authority available to any registered voter. The term will begin on Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Dec. 6.

There will be an opening on the Public Building & Site Commission, alternate position, available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. This term will begin on Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Dec. 6.

There will be two openings on the Pension Committee, available to any registered voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Dec. 6.

There will be two openings on the Sustainable Energy Commission, available to any registered voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025. The last day to apply is Dec. 6.

There is an opening on the Design Advisory Board available to any registered voter. The last day to apply is Dec. 20.
