Newtown Voters Approve Project Funding
The voters overwhelmingly supported the auditorium and roads projects.
At a special town meeting on Monday, residents overwhelmingly approved $4.6 million for upcoming projects, reports the News-Times.
The spending - $3.5 million to remodel the high school auditorium and another $1 million for road paving projects - is part of the town’s $10.5 million capital spending plan.
