NYA Kicks Off Event Lineup With College Open House [Video]

The Newtown Youth Academy launched a lineup of activities for kids and adults alike Monday night with an open house for college kids, featuring a chance to sample activities like basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and dodgeball.
Plenty is still to come on the schedule, including:
Free Open Soccer Play Day: Open to kids from grades 2-8. Check event listing for times.
Extreme Fitness Workout / Children's Activities: Metabolic challenging for adults and fun activities for kids -- at the same time. Starts Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
Free Open Lacrosse Day: Open to kids from grades 2-8. Check event listing for times.
Free NY Life Open Play Day for Kids: A variety of activities for kids, from dodgeball to inflatables. Must register beforehand.
