Obituary: Terry Elizabeth Krupka, 69, Of Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — Terry Elizabeth Krupka, 69, of Newtown, departed this life unexpectedly to join the angels in heaven on Jan. 29, 2024. Born in Providence, RI in 1954, she was the daughter of the late Charles Campbell Sr. and Mildred Campbell (Martin), and sister of the late Charles Campbell Jr.

Terry is survived by her brother, Richard Campbell, and wife Tammy, of Colorado Springs, CO, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved children: son, Aaron Campbell, and wife Kerri of Johnston, RI, and her daughter, Judy Goulette, along with her sons, Liam and Cassius Goulette of Newtown —Terry's only grandsons. Terry's grandsons were the joys of her life, and after her retirement, she moved from Florida to Connecticut, devoting her time to being a loving grandma and helping care for them.

Having lived in Punta Gorda, FL, for many years and previously in Smithfield, RI, Terry spent her career as a school bus transportation director and driver, forming enduring friendships. She enjoyed photography, cooking for others, and traveling across the country to visit family and friends, appreciating beautiful landmarks and scenery on her journeys.

Terry consistently displayed unconditional kindness, offering advice, support, comfort, and her heart to those in need. Her door was always open to anyone without a place to go, especially on holidays. Affectionately called "mom" by many of her children’s friends, Terry will be deeply missed.

Terry’s burial will be on Friday at noon at Pocasset Cemetery in Rhode Island, followed by a celebration of life at noon on Saturday, Feb. 10, at her daughter Judy’s home at 21 Boulevard in Newtown. All are welcome to join the family and friends to memorialize her imprint on all our hearts.
