Paint, Toy Piano, Ukulele: So Much To Do This Weekend!

The big event on the horizon is the Great Newtown Reunion, but there's lots for kids and adults this weekend in Newtown and beyond! Read on:

The Great Newtown Reunion: It's finally here, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Fairfield Hills. (You've probably noticed setup is already underway!) Read our feature on the event for more information.

Ukulele Invitational: Hosted by EduKated Fleas, ukulele players from across Connecticut will take over Sticks & Stones Farm -- bring your uke and play along! 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday.

Toodles and the Toy Piano Band: The "house band" of Connecticut Music Therapy Services provides fun music for kids ages 3-8. Starts 3:30 p.m. Friday at C.H. Booth Library.

Releasing the Past with Paint: A creative, therapeutic event from our friends at the SOUND center in Hawleyville. "If you are looking for more energy, more ease, and less tension - join me for this very fun workshop," writes Jennifer Zulli. Starts 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

Gathering of the Vibes: If you're an old-school hippie or a younger fan of jam band music, the trek to Bridgeport is worth it this weekend -- Newtown residents get in free on Sunday. The Black Crowes and Fishbone headline Sunday. See link for more details.
