Police: Juvenile Arrested for Leaving Scene of Accident
The 17-year-old was charged with a number of motor vehicle infractions.
A 17-year-old turned himself in to Newtown Police on March 10 after learning of an active warrant for his arrest on a series of motor vehicle-related charges.
According to police, the juvenile was charged with evading responsibility, operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates, operator less than 18 operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, and possession of stolen registration plates.
The charges stem from a motor vehicle accident on May 20, 2013.

The juvenile was released on a $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 8.
