Newtown police are looking for information on a mystery car that hit a white Jeep Cherokee sometime between 5 p.m. last Wednesday night and 10:10 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to reports, the car hit the parked Jeep on Underhill Road, damaged the rear passenger side and left the scene. Police say damage indicates the evading car was heading north on Underhill Road and would likely have damage on the front passenger side.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Officer Pirhala at 203-426-5841.
