Residents Support Son of Newtown Mother Killed in Motorcycle Crash
"Jackie was one of the best, patient, loving, "cool moms" I had ever met."

NEWTOWN, CT — Residents are rallying behind the son of a local mother who her friends say lived every moment to its fullest. Jaclyn Schulz, 27, was pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital after her motorcycle crashed on Currituck Road Sunday night.
Police are still investigating the accident, and say additional details may be released at a later date. A gofundme page was started by her friend Ashley Hubbard, who described Schulz's passion for both riding motorcycles and her son. To sign up for Newtown breaking news alerts and more, click here.
"She was always trying to get everyone she met to buy a bike and come ride, she truly loved it and wanted to share it with others, it was her therapy," wrote Hubbard on the gofundme page."She had told me how freeing it felt, how alive and happy she felt when riding. Anyone who knew Jackie (even the slightest bit) knew how much love and passion she had for life, but above all her 4 year old son Cayden Richard."

"Today was the first day of Cayden's life without his mother, it's unbelievable heartbreaking for us all and we can only help to raise money to help support him, to help show him how much his mother was adored and loved by everyone she met and shown him how much he is like her," wrote Hubbard.
