Rockettes To Honor Sandy Hook Family

The dance company will be in Newtown Friday to recognize the family of a victim of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.

Newtown, CT — The Rockettes will be honoring a family who lost a child in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting. The dance company will be recognizing the Marquez-Greene family as part of their "Gift of Joy" program.

Ana Graze Marquez-Greene, 6, was one of the 20 students and six educators killed on Dec. 14, 2012. The Ana Grace Project is a program of the Klingberg Family Centers non-profit. The center helps children and families who have been affected by trauma.

The Rockettes will be in Newtown to honor the family Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop.
