Sandy Hook Man Arrested After Dispute
Police say the an had an active warrant for his arrest.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Sandy Hook man was arrested on a warrant following a dispute on Church Hill Road. Police say a group of individuals left involved in the dispute left the scene in a white Audi at 11:57 p.m. on Aug. 4.
Police tracked down the Audi and found that William V. Provey, 25, of Sandy Hook had a warrant for his arrest.
Provey is charged with criminal mischief in the second degree and larceny in the sixth. He is due in court on Aug. 22 and was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
