NEWTOWN, CT — Santa will be overnighting in Newtown next month, with back-to-back tree lighting events.

Newtown Parks and Recreation, the Borough of Newtown and Adult & Pediatric Counseling Specialists PLLC will present The 39th Annual Ram Pasture Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 1. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to take in the beautiful luminaria on display all down Main Street en route to Ram Pasture via Elm Drive.

Santa will be available for sitting visits, or place your letter for him in the special North Pole mailbox.

The 23rd Annual Sandy Hook Village tree lighting festivities will be Saturday, Dec. 2, beginning at 4 p.m. Santa Claus (and karaoke!) will be available from 5-6 p.m., culminating in the tree lighting and caroling.

Bring Santa a non-perishable item for the FAITH Food Pantry of Newtown and be entered in the drawing to light the tree

The village tree-lighting is presented by the Sandy Hook Village Organization for Prosperity.
