They'd been "waiting and waiting" for this, says Shanice Barth. She, her brother Peter, and friend Tatum Radacsi couldn't wait anymore to celebrate summer in Newtown in the most quintessential way: selling lemonade and cookies by the side of Queen Street on a Monday afternoon.
"It's been a lot of work for them," says Shanice's mom Audra.
Shanice came up with the idea, brought it to Tatum and her mom, and agreed to give 25% off the price of the lemonade to Dental Associates of Newtown after they helped advertise.
"They all promised to come by and get lemonade," says Shanice. All came by and paid full price, Audra says.
