SHOP Announces 3rd Annual 'Celebrate Sandy Hook'
The concert will take place on Saturday May 14 at 7:00 p.m.

The Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP) announces Celebrate Sandy Hook, the 3rd Annual Outdoor Concert will to be performed in Sandy Hook Village along the beautiful Pootatuck River.
The concert will take place on Saturday May 14th, 2016 at 7:00 pm, in the Village Green, at 5 Glen Road in Sandy Hook (behind Village Perk Cafe at 3 Glen Road). This area has a river walk path that overlooks the Pootatuck River, which runs through the village.

Performances for the 2016 concert include:
- Tat Holler, a rising country recording star from Nashville
- Choir members from the Reed Intermediate School.
SHOP President Joe Hemingway says “We invite one and all to come and celebrate Sandy Hook and its unique historic heritage and beautiful natural setting.” Visitors can stop in any shops, dine in one of the restaurants or have a seat in a chair by the riverside and enjoy the music and festive atmosphere.

“SHOP is confident that the ‘Celebrate Sandy Hook’ concert will be the best event yet and continue to help revitalize the village by bringing an arts and culture scene into beautiful Sandy Hook,” he added.
