Where To See Santa In Newtown This Christmas Season

NEWTOWN, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Newtown families. Hereabouts, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Newtown Parks & Rec will be hosting Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9-11 a.m. in the Middle School cafeteria, 11 Queen Street.

The breakfast will include items such as bagels, doughnuts, milk juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Newtown Youth & Family Services will be holding its 39th Annual Holiday Festival on Dec. 8 from 11 am to 4 p.m., and Mrs. Claus is expected to make an appearance there.

The Miry Brook Fire Department will hold their Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 7, from 2 to 11 a.m, and

Hilltop Kitchen at the Village will be hosting Santa for breakfast on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

At Piper and Dune in Southbury, Santa will be posing for free photos from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
