Beginning at 9 p.m., Sandy Hook Promise and Newtown Youth Voices present "Within Our Reach," a night of song and spoken word at Newtown Congregational Church.
The event features Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul & Mary), poet Martin Espada, singer Vaneese Thomas, Bethany and Rufus, and a variety of other special guest. The event will continue until midnight, when churches in Newtown will ring their bells as hundreds of voices join in the iconic song "If I Had A Hammer."
