Woman Arrested for DUI in Newtown: Police
Police say they saw the woman commit traffic violations before stopping her.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Norwalk woman was arrested on July 2 for driving under the influence on Mt. Pleasant Road. Police say Charlene Williams-Dumas, 47, was stopped between Johnnie Cake Lane and Reservoir Road after seeing her commit vehicle violations.
After a brief investigation, Williams-Dumas was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane. She was released on a $500 non-surety bond.
Williams-Dumas is due in court July 18.
