Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

From Keenan Funeral Home.Isabel Peterson, 90, resident of North Branford for the past 46 years, went into the presence of Jesus on Monday, January 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Detroit, MI on December 8, 1925. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Sr. and beloved son Robert. She is survived by her children David (Holly) Syracuse New York, Frank Jr (Martha) Syracuse New York, Patricia Fultz (John) Lincoln Park Michigan, granddaughters Chrissy and Lauren Peterson, and best friend Sandy. Isabel was active until her death and was president of the New Haven Council of Knights of Lithuania. Family and friends are welcomed to attend the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd. North Branford Friday, January 29, from 4pm. to 6pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be given on Saturday, January 30, at 10am, At St Augustine Church in North Branford.
