The 2013 Potato & Corn Festival opens today! The PoCo Fest will be open from 4 to 11 p.m. today with these clubs featuring their booths on our calendar:

• North Branford Soccer Club at the Potato Festival
• North Branford Rotary to Sell 50/50 Raffle Tickets
• Purchase Your Cow Chip Tickets

Not ready to hit up to PoCo Fest yet? You've got other options, too!

• Miniature Gardens for Grownups at Natureworks at 6 p.m.
• Dig into a Book Treasure Hunt at the Atwater at 6:30 p.m.
• Get your tickets for Comedy at the Castle to be held on Sunday, Aug. 18 and benefit Matt's Mission Fund.
• Don't forget that today is the last day to pay taxes without penalty.
