North Branford has a lot of wooded areas and fields that have become favorite areas for young people to use ATV’s to joy ride around.

The issue is some of the riders have done extensive damage to property and it also has provided a challenge for police to try and catch those abusing property with traditional police vehicles.

Halloran’s possible solution is to let the drone to the police work - catching those responsible and saving wear and tear on Town police vehicles.

The town hasn’t put the place yet but it may just be a matter of time.
