North Branford Officials Discuss Pros And Cons Of Food Trucks
Food truck controversies have hit neighboring towns in recent years, touching on many topics.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT - The issue of whether to allow food trucks in North Branford was the subject of a discussion at the most recent Planning and Zoning Commission.
Currently, Town Planner Carey Duques said there are no written regulations concerning food trucks. She said that’s problematic because she’s received some inquiries.
Commission members then wondered what action would be appropriate, some suggesting there could be an ordinance against food trucks on town property and others suggesting the town research how neighboring towns handle the sometimes controversial issue.
