The North Branford Rotary Club is proud to announce the recently completed Water Filter Project in Kenya. Our club partnered with Kenyan Health Care Initiatives and Rotary District 7980 to provide 42 water filters to 19 primary and secondary schools in the Il Ngwesi Group Ranch - a very remote area of Kenya. This was made possible by a district managed matching grant provided by Rotary District 7980. This project will provide a sustainable way for these students to drink clean water in order to avoid water-bourne illness and disease and stay in school.
For more information about the North Branford Rotary Club and how you participate in these kinds of projects please contact President Melinda Fonda 203-988-0883. You may also email the Club at Northbranfordrotary@gmail.com
