• North Branford Police Blotter: Dec. 8 to Dec. 16, 2025 (patch.com) — North Branford residents can see the latest police activity from Dec. 8–16, including the arrest of a West Haven man on multiple criminal mischief, burglary, trespass, larceny, and related charges. Police emphasize that all information comes from official logs and that those charged are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. 
• Lamont pledges $70M for health care after US Senate deadlocks (bristoledition.org) — North Branford residents are indirectly represented in a major health care move, as their state representative Vincent Candelora weighed in on Gov. Ned Lamont’s plan to spend $70 million to offset lost federal insurance subsidies. The one-year fix aims to keep Access Health CT premiums stable for many middle-income families statewide while Congress remains deadlocked over extending Affordable Care Act tax credits.
