Obituary: Diane Donovan-Forte, 82, of North Branford

After retiring, she enjoyed working at the North Branford Community Center and running the Totoket Christmas Tree Farm with husband Henry.

Diane Donovan-Forte, loving wife of the late Henry Forte (2015) sadly passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 82. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt to many. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in North Branford, CT
She was predeceased by her parents, John J Donovan, and Mary Walsh Donovan; her twin, Dennis Donovan and siblings, John F. Donovan, Charlotte Schlosser, Donald Donovan, and Paul Donovan.
She leaves behind her children; Laurie (Anne) Matz, Lorrie (Arthur) Kiley, John (Betty) Coppola, and DeAne (Michael) Beauvais; grandchildren, JamieLee (Kevin) Bedard, Arthur (Shauna) Kiley, Brendan Matz, Christopher (Nicole) Coppola, and Paige Burkhart; great grandchildren, Malcolm, Hannah, and Sawyer Kiley, Kannon Bedard, Benjamin and Alexander Coppola. As well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Diane was born in New Haven, CT on March 4, 1941, and grew up in West Haven, CT. She loved playing the trumpet and was an active member drum corps for many years. She also loved living in Vermont and New Hampshire for several years with her predeceased longtime companion Theodore Woznicki (2003).
Diane was an administrative assistant for Principal Financial, Rivere Aerospace and CNS Wholesale. In her retirement, she enjoyed working at the North Branford Community Center and running the Totoket Christmas Tree Farm with her husband Henry.
She will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at the Branford CT Hospice who took wonderful care of mom.
