Work On Transmission Lines Continues Near North Branford Border
Work is expected to take place between the Madison Town border off Nortontown Road and the North Branford Town border near Jamestown Drive.

Eversource and its approved contractors will be conducting various activities associated with transmission line maintenance in Guilford throughout the remainder of this year.
Work is expected to take place between the Madison Town border off Nortontown Road and the North Branford Town border near Jamestown Drive. Maintaining infrastructure is one of the many ways Eversource supports the safe and secure transmission of electricity throughout the region.
In addition to vegetation maintenance activities recently communicated to you, the scope of upcoming work will include inspections of existing transmission structures both by foot and utilizing drone patrols as well as possible vegetation mowing to facilitate access to these structures. Please note that these work activities will not interrupt electric service to homes or businesses.

For larger undertakings including structure replacement projects, Eversource will follow-up with more detailed project schedules and locations, and also ensure that nearby property owners are being provided with a 1-800 number, an email address, and that its project team performs door-to-door outreach ahead of construction. General work hours will be Monday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
