Police responded Monday afternoon to the intersection of Middletown Avenue at Rimmon Road with members of the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit. "Unfortunately, one person, a 80-year-old North Haven resident, has been pronounced deceased on scene," police wrote in a post on Facebook. "We extend our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of the victim. "The investigation is on going, but no foul play is suspected at this time. All involved have been cooperative."This story will be updated when more information is available.
