Large Police Presence Shuts Down Roads, North Haven Police Say

UPDATE: Armed Man Taken Into Custody After Hours-Long Standoff: North Haven PD

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Hartford Turnpike between Skiff and School streets has been shut down Wednesday morning.

"North Haven PD and the South Central Regional Swat team is on scene responding to an incident. The incident is contained and no injuries have been reported. There is a large police presence, and the area should be avoided. Further updates to follow," police said.
