NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man is accused of illegally sharing private sexual content online, according to police.
A victim reported to North Haven police in August that private sexual content was publicly disseminated without their knowledge or consent, according to police.
Police said a thorough investigation by North Haven detectives determined that Winston Bethune, 24, was responsible for distributing the video.

Bethune was arrested Oct. 2 and charged with dissemination of an intimate video.
“The North Haven Police Department emphasizes that content shared online is accessible to a broad audience and we encourage the public to practice safe and responsible online behavior when sharing information or materials,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “We are committed to investigating all forms of online criminal activity and will hold those responsible accountable.”
