Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Juvenile: North Haven Police
Police said a lengthy investigation found that the 20-year-old man "engaged in a sexual relationship" with a girl under the age of 16.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A New Haven man is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile in North Haven, according to police.
Jesus Torres, 20, was arrested Feb. 13 on a warrant following an investigation that started Dec. 26 after police were alerted to a “sexual relationship between a juvenile female and adult male,” according to police.
Police said a lengthy investigation and the completion of search warrants for social media/messaging apps found that Torres “engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile female who was under the age of 16.”

Torres was arrested on charges of second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, and enticing a minor. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond, according to police.
