National Retailer Celebrating Grand Opening In North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — National discount retailer Burlington Stores, Inc., will open its new location in North Haven on Friday, Oct. 24.

A grand-opening ribbon-cutting ceremony will take at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 24 at the new store, located at 380 Universal Drive N. in North Haven. Burlington will also present a $5,000 donation to teachers at Dominick H. Ferrara School at the ceremony.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, on Friday and Saturday Oct. 24 and 25, the first 100 customers, ages 18 and up, will receive a $10 Bonus Card to be used toward their purchase, according to officials.

The North Haven location is the 17th Burlington store in Connecticut. Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, has more than 1,138 stores across the country.

“Our goal is to continue to offer area residents tremendous value on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” Burlington Stores CEO Michael O’Sullivan said. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in North Haven. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”
