New Worldwide Company Opens In North Haven

The company has opened in a 90,000-square foot facility in North Haven, according to First Selectman Michael Freda.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A new worldwide company specializing in digital automation and energy management is coming to North Haven.

Schneider Electric USA opened Tuesday in a 90,000-square foot space at 60 Dodge Avenue in North Haven, according to First Selectman Michael Freda.

“Schneider Electric was named the ‘World’s Most Sustainable’ company by Time Magazine and features an on site microgrid, electrical distribution infrastructure, and automation technology designed to improve energy efficiency,” Freda wrote in a post on Facebook. “The company has a world wide presence, and in the United States they have manufacturing facilities and distribution centers all over the country.”

Freda was joined at the company’s opening on Tuesday by State Representative David Yaccarino, State Senator Paul Cicarella, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and the State Commissioner of Revenue Services, Mark D. Boughton.

“It was my pleasure to be part of the speaking program with our State and Federal colleagues welcoming this outstanding company to North Haven!” Freda wrote.
