North Haven Election 2025: Pasquale Nuzzolillo Running For Fire Commission

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The 2025 municipal election is heating up in North Haven with plenty of races on the ballot.

Voters will cast their ballots in the Nov. 4 election for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Finance, Town Clerk/Tax Collector and more.

North Haven Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as election day draws near.

Why are you seeking this office?
To enhance public safety through the North Haven fire department for the best interest of our residence, visitors and business owners.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have been a member of the North Haven Fire Commission for the past 20 years as chairman, working with three different fire chiefs and have hired and promoted numerous firefighters through throughout the years.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I will continue to advocate for the safety of firefighters while on the job.

I will also be encouraging the Town to underwrite the cost of additional firefighters in order to deliver the quality customer service residence deserve.

I will continue to investigate different avenue in an attempt to grow our volunteer firefighter ranks.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have a proven track record over the last 20 years as chairman of the North Haven Fire Commission.

I overall the renovation and rebuild of the North Haven fire stations

Interviewed and hired new fire, Chiefs and deputy fire, chiefs as well as fire marshals and firefighters.

I have been the liaison between the North Haven fire department and the town of North Haven administration to advocate on behalf of the fire department and it needs

I have worked collaboratively with the chairman of the North Haven police commission for the best interest of public safety.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
I should listen twice as much as I speak.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have been a North Haven resident for 40+ years of which 20 of those years. I have been dedicated to public safety through the North Haven fire department.
